The process
How we find where your home is losing energy
Blower door testing turns guesswork into measurements
A calibrated fan depressurizes your home so every gap becomes measurable. Technicians locate air escaping through attic hatches, rim joists, window frames, and outlets — then get to work sealing them the same day.
- Calibrated fan test quantifies air leakage in cubic feet per minute
- Pressure mapping identifies the specific zones losing the most conditioned air
- Measurements go straight into the same-day work plan
Infrared cameras and safety checks complete the picture
Insulation can look fine and still underperform. Thermal imaging reveals where insulation has settled or was never installed — cold and warm patches on a thermogram pinpoint the spots costing the most. Technicians also clear every home for carbon monoxide and combustion hazards before work begins.
- Thermographic scan of ceilings, walls, and attic included
- CO and combustion-appliance safety test on every visit
- Every problem zone documented in your written report
What to expect during your visit
See exactly what happens, what you do, and what you get at each stage of the process.
Step 1
Energy diagnostics

One visit, lasting results
A single in-home visit that covers diagnostics, same-day air sealing, weatherization, and water conservation from start to finish.
On average, families save $70–$100 on their annual energy bills after the visit — and that's before any subsequent rebates and upgrades are factored in.
That is all you pay for the complete service. The copay is waived entirely if your household qualifies as income-eligible through HES-IE.
