You're probably eligible for energy efficiency rebates. Why? It's your money!

Every month, all Connecticut residents pay a small charge on their utility bill to make CT homes more energy efficient. These funds are combined with other state allocations and are provided on the basis of need. This provides incentives such as low-cost energy assessments, energy-efficient appliance rebates, rebates for blown-in cellulose insulation in walls, energy-efficient window rebates and much more.

Here's how to qualify for energy efficiency rebates in CT.

What happens in a HES energy audit?

To qualify for most energy efficiency rebates, a home energy audit must be performed by an Energize CT and utility-certified contractor. This is known as Home Energy Solutions or "HES", for short. HES is a comprehensive in-home energy efficiency service designed to help lower energy bills: Here's what it entails:

Diagnostics AND weatherization: HES combines deep diagnostics with immediate remedial action into a single 4-6 hour visit from an energy efficiency team.

Tailored to your home's needs: Each home and family is unique. Through advanced in-home diagnostics and testing, our team will uncover your distinct efficiency needs and provide a report containing upgrade prescriptions and all the associated rebates and incentives you're eligible for.

Low cost/Free-of-charge: Thanks to State & utility support, HES will only cost a $50 co-pay, and if you're income-eligible it's free of charge! HES produces an average of $1,800 of value and savings*.
