Why it pays off
The advantages of your Insulation
Insulation is a key component of any energy-efficient home. Insulation helps to regulate the temperature in homes, reduce energy consumption, and save families money on their energy bills. Here are some of the benefits of insulation for Connecticut families, thanks to Energize CT:
Energy Efficiency
Insulation is one of the most effective ways to improve the energy efficiency of a home. Insulation helps to keep homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer, reducing the need for heating and cooling systems and lowering energy bills.
Cost Savings
Insulation can help families save money on their energy bills by reducing energy consumption. This can result in significant cost savings over time for families who insulate their homes.
Comfort
Insulation can help regulate the temperature in homes, providing a more comfortable living space for families. Insulation can also help to reduce drafts and improve indoor air quality, making homes more comfortable to live in.
Noise Reduction
Insulation can also provide noise reduction benefits for families. Insulation can help to reduce noise pollution from outside, making homes quieter and more peaceful.Energize CT rebates make insulation upgrades accessible and affordable for all, covering up to 75-100% of insulation costs! Note that the cost, performance, and savings vary on factors such as different insulation types, installation, energy costs, usage patterns, and the size of the home.

Overall, the right Insulation project pays you back in lower bills and a more comfortable home — and the incentives above bring the upfront cost down.
Federal incentives that can stack on top
The home-improvement credit for heat pumps, insulation, windows and more. Projects completed by the deadline can still claim it on a federal return.
The 30% clean-energy credit for solar, battery storage and geothermal systems. Installs completed and paid for by the deadline can still claim it.
Income-qualified electrification rebates that become available when Connecticut launches (DEEP expects 2026) — we will flag it the moment it opens.
