Thanks to public and private funding, HES-IE is free-of-charge for eligible customers. Participants typically receive approximately $1,350 of weatherization and efficiency services and realize $450 of annual energy savings with the first HESÂ energy audit appointment. That's approximately $1,800 of value and savings on day one.

Hi, I’m Colleen Ebanks-Shippey. After receiving an energy audit from Home Comfort Practice in 2016, I experienced the benefits immediately as evidenced in my heating fuel cost and electricity cost among other incentives as my home became more energy efficient. I shared the information with friends and family who took advantage of this opportunity. They benefited from the same services and incentives. As a result, therefore I sought employment 2017 with this company and began working as a Community Outreach Representative for the Home Comfort Practice team. My goal has been and continues to be to help Connecticut residents take advantage of this phenomenal program.
I’m available Sun-Fri, including evening hours during the week, to aid with the application process, answer questions and provide information at your request and convenience.
